when i click in 3D i cant select the options in the “page”

Hello! Could you list which version of Photoshop you're using in 3D videos? Since Adobe is removing the 3D features from PS, it would be nice to know which version to roll back to in order to follow the guide.

The annoying part is when you’re working on a project at an agency and they see the price of the font and they never want to pay for it! Then you have to find some subpar google font 😢😂

*For anyone trying this mid-2024:* if you are on the latest PS version this tutorial is basically un-doable. Photoshop is removing/discontinuing its 3D-capabilities and every step of the way is buggy or straight up impossible. Best to switch to Blender (intranetgirl has a great tutorial).

A quick advise 😁: Before doing any of these effects especially gaussian blur, switch to 16 bit color mode so you can escape bad color bands in your photo, then do the trick & switch back to 8 bit

one could use the auto-trace feature of Adobe Illustrator to save a bit of time, it works quite well. I use it all the time to create paths from hand drawn artworks or from clip art, etc.

If I click on edit texture, everything goes as in your video, but I don't have any visualization in the window, like no canvas, everything is just grey...

photoshop told me there wasnt enough ram space :( is there other ways to get around this ?? :((

When I open the 3D window, the "3D Extrusion," as well as the other checkboxes are grayed out for me :( My shape is also most definitely a smart object. Any ideas? :(

Hi, In my opinion, visually speaking it looks really pretty, but I noticed some readability problems; Ponyo - can be read as "PONTO" Spirited Away - SPIPTSD AUIAY and the first and last "O" in "Totoro" might be read as an "U" - "TUTORU" ...If you know the meaning behind the design, you get it, but for someone who never saw it, can have a hard time reading it right.
